About the Process
I. Book the date
Once we have had the opportunity to communicate about pricing and details, you will receive an online contract to secure your wedding date. This, along with a 30% security deposit, is required to book my services for your date.
At this time we will also discuss timing and scheduling of any pre-wedding shoots such as an engagement session.
II. Make a plan
I love to be a part of your planning to ensure we are successful on your wedding day to make the most of your photography experience with me! We'll go over your timeline together and I'll make suggestions on timing needed on each part of the day. We will also work together to compile a list of moments that cannot be missed, and you will fill out a questionnaire regarding group portraits. The goal here is to make the day as stress free as possible for you, and to have a plan in place before I even arrive.
III. Deliver memories
Sometime between 8-10 weeks after your wedding, you will receive your wedding gallery delivered via email (the BEST day!). Along with your gallery will be instructions on completing any items included in your wedding package such as prints or your wedding album.
Do you travel/photograph destination weddings?
Yes! I love to travel. While I am based in Utah, I love my destination weddings. I spend a lot of time working in Jackson Hole (hello, Tetons!), California, and mountain locations around the West. Please inquire about a travel quote to your destination.
Do you offer videography services?
I do not, but I have a wonderful list of references for you!
Do we need an engagement session?
In short - if you can, yes! An engagement session is such a great way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day, and understand how it feels to be in front of my camera. Sometimes due to travel and distance, engagements might not be feasible and thats ok! We'll be sure to cover our bases prior to your wedding.
Are you familiar with religious or cultural ceremonies?
Yes. I am a woman of deep faith and champion inclusion and equality. I love and photograph clients of all religion, cultures, race, and sexual orientation.
Do we need a second photographer for our day?
Perhaps. We will discuss your wedding day, schedule, and overall needs to determine if my second shooter is necessary. While I wish I could be in two places at once, I cannot! Generally a second photographer is suggested when dealing with multiple locations on a wedding day, along with a few other factors.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. Wedding albums are my favorite deliverable after your wedding! My books are an heirloom quality style, built with thick pages and options of leather or linen covers.
When can we expect to see our wedding gallery?
Galleries are delivered between 8 and 10 weeks.
