Fellow Beginner/Amateur Photographers!
I have received several emails over the past couple of months requesting and asking about MENTORING. I’m truly
flattered and have decided that I would love to put together a small, one-day inspiration workshop.
I’m going to add that I do NOT claim to be an expert by any means!! This workshop is just ME, and how I do things,
how I prefer to shoot, how I light a shot, and how I love to edit.
THE DETAILS:
This workshop is going to be great for beginner photographers looking to learn:
-How I shoot, what settings I prefer and why, shooting ONLY manual mode, and looking to nail their exposures each time.
-How I got into, and started my weddings/portrait business.
-How I work in a relaxed way with clients (posing, interacting, etc)
-My favorite gear, books, programs, things that inspire me.
-How I prefer to light an image using natural, beautiful light
-My editing preferences, and post processing workflow using Lightroom & Photoshop.
-Small section covering social media, blogging, and building a clientele.
-WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN?
The class will likely start in the morning, about 9:00am. We will take a short lunch break (provided) and go out on an on-location shoot with a styled model or couple. Then head back for the post-shoot workflow and editing portion.
This will be a SMALL class, so that I can get to know each of you, and give you the attention to your questions.
Workshop Cost: $500
Two dates are currently being discussed. April 5th or April 12th. I’d love to know which works for those interested in attending. Please email me (jacquelynnphoto at gmail dot com) or call me 801-597-8955 with any questions, or to reserve a seat.
